Large scale infrastructure project with Amiblu sewer pipes in Stara Zagora, Bulgaria
An exciting project is currently underway in Stara Zagora, Bulgaria. In the central part of the city, nearly 60 km of the water supply and sewage network are being replaced.
Smart upgrades will allow city officials to accurately measure the flow and pressure in the network and prevent overflows during heavy rainfalls. In the past, leakages led to water losses which posed danger to the environment. Also, groundwater would infiltrate the sewage network putting additional stress on the city’s treatment plant. All that should be a thing of the past.
Amiblu convinced the contractor with its products’ long lifetime, excellent hydraulic characteristics, and a flexible delivery schedule. And we were happy to supply diameters ranging from DN 700 to 1600 as well as tangential and standard shafts.
