Interview with Anabel Benito Llatge, Human Resources Coordinator at Amiblu Pipes Spain

In this interview, we take a closer look at the experience, motivations, and vision of Anabel Benito Llatge, a key member of the Human Resources department. She enthusiastically shares insights into her daily work, the challenges she faces, and the values that shape her journey at the company.
What is the pace of work like in a plant such as Amiblu’s?
The pace at Amiblu is dynamic, agile, and highly focused on excellence. We work with precision and a strong sense of focus to respond quickly to any situation. We have a responsible and efficient team with high standards. This work culture drives us to take initiative, stay mentally sharp, and keep progressing every day.
Describe a typical working day at Amiblu.
No two days are the same at Amiblu. In our Human Resources department, people are always the top priority. While all matters are important, we respond immediately to those that directly affect our colleagues.
In HR, we are accessible and collaborative, supporting every department in the company. This makes our work highly varied and adaptable to the different needs that arise daily.
What do you enjoy most about your job?
I truly enjoy working in a team. I especially value the positive work environment, the sense of camaraderie, and the exchange of knowledge among professionals from different areas.
Many of our tasks in HR involve collaborating with other departments, which has given me the opportunity to learn from outstanding professionals—and I continue learning from them every day. I’ve also had the chance to build enriching personal friendships.
In my eight years at Amiblu, what I value most is the constant emergence of new challenges, which create opportunities for ongoing learning. A great example was my participation in one of our cross-functional teams, World Class Manufacturing, where I gained insights into the production side of the company, an area I was previously unfamiliar with.
What has been the most fun moment you’ve shared with your department colleagues?
There have been many fun moments, thanks to the great interpersonal relationships we enjoy. We use humor daily to break the routine.
One especially memorable moment was the celebration of Amiblu’s 30th Anniversary. Colleagues, family members, and friends came together for a day full of activities that brought us closer to the company in a joyful and engaging way.
Tell us about a unique HR project that stands out for you.
The most significant project I’ve led at Amiblu has been the Equality Plan. I’m very grateful for the trust placed in me four years ago when I was appointed Equality Officer.
It’s a source of pride for me to work at a company that is inclusive, committed to non-discrimination, and has supported every action I’ve proposed in this area.
Gender equality is a strategic pillar in our corporate and HR policies. We are committed to eliminating discrimination and promoting equal opportunities for women and men throughout the organization.
If you hadn’t gone into Human Resources, what career path would you have taken?
I would most likely have pursued a career related to social rights. I feel strongly about ensuring people are not left without the protection of their rights, so I probably would have focused on the field of human rights.
Amiblu has launched an internal transformation process to reduce the environmental impact of its products. What’s your view on this?
I’m very committed to environmental policies and try to contribute to environmental well-being through my daily actions.
That’s why I truly appreciate Amiblu’s commitment to sustainability, its investment in research, and the creation of a cross-functional team dedicated to minimizing our environmental footprint.
I think it’s a brilliant idea that each department is encouraged to lead its own initiatives while contributing to a shared vision of a more eco-sustainable world.
How would you define Amiblu in a few words? Amiblu is a company that…

With my family or friends. For me, family is the most important thing, and I also value friendship deeply. That’s why I especially enjoy making plans with them, like walking in nature, traveling, or simply going with the flow and improvising something fun.
How do you imagine the future? Do you see it linked to Amiblu?
Absolutely! Amiblu gives me the opportunity to keep growing professionally, encouraging continuous training and motivation to lead new projects. I see myself actively collaborating and contributing effort and dedication in every step we take together.
