Amiblu Expands Global Presence with Acquisition of Australian RPC Pipe Systems
Maximising expertise for building sustainable water infrastructure in Australia and New Zealand: RPC Pipe Systems (RPC PC) has been acquired by Amiblu, RPC PS’s technology partner for Flowtite pipe systems.
It is a significant milestone in the mission of Amiblu to provide sustainable and durable water management solutions on a global scale: The strategic acquisition of RPC Pipe Systems, long-term license partner of Amiblu’s Flowtite GRP Pipe Systems, enables Amiblu to expand operations into the Asia-Pacific region. The grown Group will continue to bring innovative technologies, backed by over 60 years of expertise in GRP pipe systems, to the communities that need them the most.
Since 2006, RPC Pipe Systems has been a trusted licensee of Flowtite technology, playing a vital role in establishing GRP as the material of choice for addressing severe water shortages in Australia and New Zealand. Under the Amiblu umbrella, RPC PS’s local manufacturing efforts will now be fully aligned with Amiblu’s broader mission: to combat the world’s water crisis with modern, smart pipe systems designed to last for generations.
Founded in 2017 as a joint venture, Amiblu has quickly established itself as the global leader in the production of GRP pipes, leveraging its ownership of the renowned Flowtite continuous filament winding and Hobas centrifugal casting technologies. With the world’s largest fully accredited GRP pipe testing laboratory in Norway, Amiblu continues to uphold the high standards of quality, innovation, and sustainability in the industry.
By integrating RPC PS’s expertise and regional experience with Amiblu’s global capabilities, the company is better positioned to deliver value-driven solutions that address the urgent challenges of water scarcity and infrastructure resilience in the region.
